Imafia :the scandal of the honor point (english version)

Here is my reaction about the new possibility in Imafia (iphone application) to earn "honor point". I am french and I tried to translate my ideas in English to communicate them to most Imafia players. So dear players of Imafia, you may have been very pleased as I did about this game ! This game was fun even if it is not THE game, at leat because nothing really new in it (energy, health .. are known for long time in other games, fight and fighting again real players also, real estate or bar's functions have been already created, even under other names), but whatever, this game is easy to understand, and is a interesting strategic game.
Now, a new feature has been added : earning honor point in "godfather" place. " You can "earn" honor points by buying applications on iphone, application from ... play mesh !!! from .99 $ to more thant 19 $ !!!.

What I want to underline is that this game became a mafia system.
- Players became a kind of hostage, requisitionned (sorry for my english) by the play mesh team to evolve in the game. Note that the word "earn" is ambiguous, because we could think that in a "honor mind", "earn" should refer to courage, faithfulness and so on.... earn should be similar to "win" and not to "buy" with real money!!
- If you don't buy application, you can still play. But, as in real life, this game is "at two speed" : those who have money, and those who don't. Thus two kind of people within the game are implicitly created: the poor (who may not be really poor but think that is become stupid to pay for that) and the real rich (who may not be but are "pushed'" to do it).
- the sense of honor by play mesh is an hypocrite mask : business and not courage...

- I hope that players of imafia will react about that. It seems to me that we are the target (or our money) of a manipulation (legal or not, it is not the question) has to be denounced
and punished by the players.
- It appears to me that the main objective of the play mesh team was to sell us their other games which are not so much interested for imafia players. In other word : we would have never buy them if they were not interested by honor point (see on some forum, players who buy play mesh application did it for honor point and not for the game itself and ususally are not interested by the application the bought)...
- All the things looks like a kind of masquerade. Playing free game, and then depenser spend lot of money to be the first in a virtual game.... are we stupid ? is the game is so much the best game of the word ?????


- We, players, have been happy to play to imafia during more than 20 days sometimes, we can feel engage in the game (wake up in the night to play..). But we have to be intelligent players, and we have to recognize that a limit has been passed. The world is in crisis, because of a liberal system. We have to be vigilant about this kind of manipulation even if this manipulation does not looks really important. But the system if rooted in an easy manipulation rule: make feel free player to evolve in an easy game, and then use them to make business !!!

- note that this organization is really deleterious for other application : if you buy a play mesh application (19 $ !!!!) for a bad reason (honor point and not for the game itseld), you may not buy other games from other people that may really be interesting for you !!!

- I hope that players will react about this.
- I hope that non players who understood what I try to express before will react.

Note also, that this imafia system led me to create my first blog !!! I am usually as all people : I shut up, but I became more and more angry and disappointed.
